Updating the atmosphere while keeping the charm of The Dancing Bears was paramount during the rebuild of the Dancing Bears. What was created is a place for everyone; a welcoming American-style restaurant that presents a uniquely different experience for families and professionals to locals and visitors alike. Some of the essential artifacts from the original Dancing Bears Lounge adorn the new space as a way to remember and pay homage to the past, but the true appeal of the new Dancing Bears though is that while it connects with its celebrated history it also illustrates an independence to demonstrate its own unique restaurant character.

Guests can start their day with an incredible American style breakfast featuring hardy omelets, buttermilk pancakes with fresh berries or just a great cup of gourmet organic coffee and fresh baked pastry all while enjoying one of Lake Placid's great views. For lunch and dinner, the convenient Main Street location makes the Dancing Bears restaurant the perfect place to enjoy the variety of great foods featuring deli sandwiches on fresh baked breads, signature pizzas, great salads and a wide variety of appetizers and salads.

The bar features the coldest beer in Lake Placid: Our Mega-Freeze Polar Beers poured through taps encased in blocks of ice. There are also wines by the glass, signature cocktails and our refreshing tea sparklers. Plus everyday from 4pm-7pm you can Freeze Your Glass Off with $2 Megafreeze Draft Pints!
