Discover Winter Biathlon

Mt. Van Hoevenberg's "Discover Biathlon" program offers an immersive introduction to the sport of biathlon, combining cross-country skiing with rifle marksmanship. Participants begin with a brief history of biathlon, followed by a one-hour cross-country ski lesson and guided tour tailored to their experience level. The session concludes with a safety briefing and biathlon shooting instruction, allowing guests to test their marksmanship with .22 caliber rifles.

This unique experience includes a full-day cross-country ski rental and trail pass, ensuring participants have all necessary equipment for the day. Suitable for all ages and skill levels, the Discover Biathlon program provides a comprehensive and engaging introduction to this exciting winter sport, set against the scenic backdrop of Mt.
