Tour local sugarhouses, sample delicious maple syrups, and join in on fun activities like tapping demonstrations, and pancake breakfasts. Experience the beauty of the Adirondack landscape and the traditions of maple making.

• Cornell University Uihlein Maple Research Forest
  Visit for tours of the maple sugaring process, maple industry research, tasting, live demonstrations, and the opportunity to purchase maple products. The Uihlein Maple Research Forest also grows birch and beech trees, which you can sample and learn about. Free maple syrup tasting, as well as other tree syrup tastings and maple coffee.

• Heaven Hill Farm
  Visitors are invited to explore an Audubon-recognized Bird-Friendly sugaring operation and discover the process of making maple syrup on a traditional wood-fired evaporator. Guests can enjoy maple coffee and treats with the family and even participate in tapping a maple tree. The experience also includes a nostalgic look at maple syrup production from 60 years ago, featuring the "Sipple Maple Production" video, provided by the Joan Weill Library at Paul Smith's College.

• Bechard's Sugar House
  Bechard's Sugar House will kick off Maple Weekends starting a week early, on March 9th and 10th. Visitors to their sugar house can enjoy complimentary maple coffee and samples of their maple products, including the famous Maple Glazed Walnuts and Maple Syrup Cake. They will offer tours of the sugar house to show how maple products are made. Additionally, a delicious pancake breakfast will be served from 8 am to 2 pm, featuring pancakes, sausage, ham, scrambled eggs, home fries, baked beans, and desserts—all served with Bechard's delicious maple syrup, along with maple coffee, tea, and juices.
