Songs at Mirror Lake
Songs at Mirror Lake (SAML) is a free summer concert series held on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. at Mid's Park Bandshell in downtown Lake Placid, New York. This all-volunteer, nonprofit community organization aims to introduce residents and visitors to a diverse range of musical genres while providing regional artists with a platform for exposure and experience. The 2025 series kicks off on July 1 and continues every Tuesday through August 26, offering a vibrant lineup of performances against the picturesque backdrop of Mirror Lake.
Mid's Park, the venue for these concerts, is centrally located in Lake Placid with beautiful views overlooking Mirror Lake. Attendees can enjoy an array of musical styles, including blues, funk, Americana, and reggae, with past performers such as Rusted Root, Amy Helm, Joan Osborne, and The Infamous Stringdusters gracing the stage. The series not only enriches the cultural landscape of the community but also fosters a sense of togetherness among locals and visitors alike.
